I am so glad it remains first person which I find much more immersive. 3rd person is fine if you want the charater-in-a-movie feel. But if you want a your♥♥♥♥♥is in it feel, 1st person is it. Just my humble opinion. In the PS3 game Far Cry 3, can I play using third person view? Well I really think that so much customization doesn't go well with first person view only, even with coop. Far Cry is very similar to GR Wildlands, except for the view, in term of gameplay. So why only stick to first person? There could be a third person OPTION, you know, like Skyrim and such. It isnt like this modification cant be done. It has been implemented in numerous video games already. The FPS style of Far Cry 5 on foot is great, but the vehicles need to utilize a third person perspective to make it easier to navigate in the vast open world of Far Cry 5.
